The team at Browns York held two events in-store on 17th October for the NHS Dementia Appeal and 19th October for Breast Cancer Now & Breast Friends York raising a total of £1,924 in total!

Browns Gainsborough raised £100 in October 2017 for the Lincoln Friends of Anthony Nolan Charity!

 

Browns York held a Macmillan Coffee Morning in September 2017 at the Gerry Weber department.

Our Gainsborough team got involved in the Superhero dress up day in aid of the local palliative care unit in Gainsborough in August 2017

We held an internal bake sale to on National Cupcake Day to raise money for Alzheimers Society in June 2017.

We donated £1.00 to the Kiss it Better children’s cancer charity for every lipstick sold during our Valentine’s promotions in February 2017 with all money raised by Kiss it Better going towards the pioneering paediatric cancer research at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Estee Lauder team at Browns York ran an exclusive beauty event on Thursday 30th March in aid of the Renal Arts Co-ordinator at York Hospital raising £300.00.

The money raised on the evening will go towards funding a Renal Arts Co-ordinator. The Artist works with patients on Renal Dialysis to give a number of benefits. Art sessions can include poetry, photography, calligraphy, animation, painting and drawing. Art has many benefits for these patients who have to go on Dialysis 3 to 4 times per week for up to 4 hours at a time.

Maggie Bulman Corporate Fundraiser said “We are very grateful to the staff at Browns for their amazing support of York Teaching Hospital Charity and we know the money raised for this cause will make a big difference to Renal patients at York Hospital. We are so thrilled to have the continued support from Browns”.

 

The team presented a cheque for £500.00 to Harry and Lara from BBC Look North (Yorkshire) for BBC Children in Need outside Browns York!
