RETURNS POLICY
- In Store
- If you return a product to us within 28 days and with proof of purchase, we will happily provide you with an exchange or full refund.
- Sale goods must be returned with 7 days again with proof of purchase to qualify for a refund or exchange.
- If you decide to return a product, for which you accrued Reward Card points, we’ll deduct the points from your Reward Card that you collected when the product was purchased.
Online
- We accept returns via our Stores and Royal Mail.
- If you return a product to us within 28 days and with proof of purchase, we will happily provide you with an exchange or full refund.
- Sale goods must be returned within 7 working days, due to mitigating circumstances we will accept the initial Return Request as within 7 working days as approved for return. Eg; Order placed on 1st, the customer would have 7 working days to let us know of their intent to return the sale good.

It is FREE to return your items to one of our 4 stores!
Please bring your Sales Order Confirmation or show your Confirmation Email to a member of staff, bring your items along and our team will do the rest. Refunds will clear within 5 working days.

Royal Mail
To your local Post Office or Royal Mail Customer Service Point
A £3.29 returns charge* will be applied for each collection/return, regardless of the number of items you return. Royal Mail will collect the parcel from your chosen address, further information below.
To arrange a Royal Mail return, simply follow the steps below:

- Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your details in the 4 step process.
- 1) Select Small Parcel up to 2kg.
- 2) Select Tracked 48 Standard. Email Address: [email protected] , UK Mobile Number: 01904611166
- 3) Destination, Company Name: Browns of York, 21 Davygate, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 8QT. No Safeplace (someone will be at the property).
- 4) Sender Details, please fill out where you want your order to be collected from, select the time & that you would like them to bring your label at no extra cost. Add to Basket.
- Royal Mail will send you an email confirmation.
- Place all items into one parcel bag with the despatch notes inside of your parcel.
Please keep hold of your tracking receipt. We’ll email to confirm the collection and let you know when we’ve credited/refunded your items.
Click & Collect
- All Click & Collect Orders are FREE to collect.
- Please select the store you wish to collect from upon purchase.
- Due to each store selling varied products we are unable to guarantee same day collection on all purchases as an item may have to be internally transferred from a different store.
- Once your order is ready to be collected we will email you via the email address provided on your order confirmation letting you know you are able to collect.
- Orders are available to be collected Monday-Saturday between 9.30am-5.30pm.

- Free UK delivery when you spend over £75 (Furniture & Beds excluded)
- Standard UK delivery £4.50
Furniture & Beds In Store Purchases
- Delivery times are estimated at time of purchase.
- Free delivery available with purchase over £299 within a 50-mile radius.
- Less than £299 orders are quoted individually
- Beyond 50 mile deliveries are quoted individually
