Here at Browns we are very rightly proud of, and take great care of our lovely staff. So when the war in Ukraine began we were very concerned about one of our colleagues who is Ukrainian & about how all this might impact her. 

We asked colleagues to sign a card of support for which ended up been 3 & made some Ukrainian Flag themed cup cakes……This got our staffs creativity juices flowing & they decided this was not enough. The staff rallied around & organised a “Browns Ukrainian Bake Day  Off” with charity fund raising activities across the all four stores. 

Each store held their own events ranging from non-uniform day (as the Gainsborough team showcases above), tombolas, fantastic cake sales, Ukrainian Flag coloured face painting & raffles. 

Our wonderful Browns Staff across all four stores threw themselves 100% into the effort, had a fantastic time, showed amazing generosity and together raised £2,000 for the Ukrainian Aid Appeal.
