We are delighted to announce that the team at Browns Gainsborough are celebrating today after scooping the Retailer of the Year Award at the inaugural DN21 Awards last night!
The prestigious Retailer of the Year Award is decided through a public vote and sponsored by Pygott & Crone.
250 people attended the special event which was held at The Blues Club in Gainsborough. The event was staged for the third year following it’s success over the last two years as a partnership between the town’s Marshall’s Yard shopping centre and Gainsborough Trinity Football Club.
More than 100 entries were received and judged with ten awards presented throughout the evening – recognising local firms for their business growth and customer service as well as their innovation and community engagement.
The DN21 Awards celebrate Gainsborough’s diverse and thriving business community, rewarding excellence in business and retail in the town.
The team and store were also shortlisted for the following awards:
- Business Person of the Year 2017 – Wendy Stephenson of Browns
Shining Star Individual Award 2017 – Tracy Ward (Browns)
